The Snowden House stands in Waterloo, Iowa, a two-storey brick Italianate residence built in 1878 for local pharmacist William Snowden. The structure displays hallmark period details: a hip roof, shallow front gable with blind oculus, bracketed eaves, and a full-length porch, along with segmentally arched windows crowned by hood moulds. A rear wing was added later, and the interior underwent complete reconstruction following a fire in 1955. Beginning in 1922, the house served as home to the Waterloo Women's Club. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
