Located at 359 Louisiana Avenue in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, this 1937 post office exemplifies the Moderne style through the work of architect Louis A. Simon. The structure features red brick walls complemented by limestone facing around the main entrance and limestone trim throughout. A granite staircase with limestone sides and flanking pole lamps leads to the entrance. Inside, a 1940 mural titled "Fruits of Sturgeon Bay," painted by Santos Zingale and funded by the Treasury Section of Fine Arts, adorns the lobby. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
