T-Mobile Arena, a multi-purpose indoor venue designed by Populous, opened in Paradise, Nevada on April 6, 2016, on the Las Vegas Strip behind the New York-New York and Park MGM casino hotels. Built as a joint venture between MGM Resorts International and Anschutz Entertainment Group, it serves as the home arena for the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL and PWHL Las Vegas of the Professional Women's Hockey League. Nicknamed "The Fortress," the arena has hosted a diverse range of events spanning sports and entertainment, including concerts, award shows, beauty pageants, professional wrestling, boxing, and mixed martial arts. The Ultimate Fighting Championship signed a long-term tenancy agreement in 2017 to host four events annually over seven years.
