Completed in 2004, the Glasshouse (originally named Sage Gateshead) is a concert hall and musical education centre designed by Foster and Partners and located on the Quayside in Gateshead, northern England. Built as a thin-shell structure in the high-tech architectural style, the venue was established by the North Music Trust and takes its original name from The Sage Group, the accountancy software company that served as its patron.
