Tiru Parameswara Vinnagaram, also known as the Vaikunta Perumal Temple, is an 8th-century Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu located in Kanchipuram, the ancient Pallava capital in Tamil Nadu. Built by Emperor Nandivarman II Pallavamalla, this stone structure was originally called Paramechuravinnagaram in Tamil and Vishnugriha in Sanskrit, both names signifying a divine dwelling for Parameshvara, an epithet of the deity. Executed in Dravidian architectural style, the temple has proven historically significant: its iconography and layout have been rigorously analyzed by scholars including historian D. Dennis Hudson, whose detailed study decodes it as an architectural embodiment of the Bhagavata Purana, one of Hinduism's eighteen principal sacred texts. Today the temple stands as one of Kanchipuram's prominent tourist attractions.
