Located in Angola, Erie County, New York, this Colonial Revival post office was designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department under Louis A. Simon and built between 1938 and 1939. The building's interior is distinguished by a cast-stone relief sculpture titled "A Pioneer Woman's Bravery," created by Leopold Scholz in 1940. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 as part of a significant group of New Deal–era post offices constructed across New York State.
