University Village is a residential complex in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, designed by modern architects James Ingo Freed and I. M. Pei and developed between 1964 and 1966. The complex comprises three brutalist-style towers, each 30 stories high with concrete facades: 505 LaGuardia Place, a housing cooperative, and 100 and 110 Bleecker Street (known as the Silver Towers after 1974), which house NYU faculty and graduate students. The buildings surround a central plaza featuring Carl Nesjar and Pablo Picasso's Bust of Sylvette sculpture. The complex, owned by New York University, also includes the John A. Paulson Center, a multipurpose building completed in 2021 at 181 Mercer Street. The original towers and courtyard were designated New York City landmarks in 2008.
