The United States Post Office in Ogallala, Nebraska, is a single-story Moderne structure completed in 1937–1938 by the Beckenhauer Bros. construction firm. Designed by architect Louis Simon, the building exemplifies the streamlined aesthetic characteristic of Depression-era civic architecture. Its interior features a mural depicting a cowboy and longhorns, painted by artist Frank Mechau, which evokes the region's ranching heritage. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 11, 1992.
