The Wells Fargo Center, originally known as Met 2 Financial Center, is a 47-story, 655-foot skyscraper completed in 2010 in Downtown Miami's central business district. Part of the larger Metropolitan Miami complex, the building stands adjacent to the JW Marriott Marquis Miami and is connected to it via a shared parking garage. The project gained notable attention through NBA star Shaquille O'Neal's involvement; in 2006, he founded the O'Neal Group, a building-development company that undertook Metropolitan Miami as its inaugural venture. The Wells Fargo Center ranks among the top twenty tallest buildings in Miami.
