Wells Fargo Plaza is a 24-story, 300-foot high-rise office tower complex completed in 1974 at 7900 Xerxes Avenue in Bloomington, Minnesota. Originally proposed in 1969 by the Rauenhorst Corporation with plans for a revolving restaurant and heliport, the modern structure connects its main tower to a three-story auxiliary building via a central atrium. Though a turntable was installed for the revolving restaurant, the top floor was converted to office space in 1977 when a suitable tenant could not be found. Once the tallest building in Bloomington, it became a dominant Interstate 494 landmark and has earned recognition including a TOBY award in 2012 from the Building Owners and Managers Association of Minneapolis. The building underwent extensive renovations in 2010 and has since changed hands multiple times, with Prime Finance acquiring the property in September 2024.
