This Prairie School residence in Glencoe, Illinois, was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1905 for William A. Glasner, whose sister Emma Pettit later engaged Wright to design the Pettit Memorial Chapel. The 4,300-square-foot house originally faced demolition by a real estate developer before the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy intervened to secure a conservation-minded buyer. Jack Reed purchased the property in 2003 for $1.5 million and undertook a $2.5 million restoration of the four-bedroom, three-bathroom home situated on one acre.
