Located at 1450 Poydras Street in New Orleans' Central Business District, Benson Tower is a 26-story postmodern skyscraper designed by HOK and completed in 1989. Originally known as Dominion Tower and later the CNG Tower, the 406-foot building was renamed in 2009 after its purchase by Saints owner Tom Benson. The structure houses corporate tenants including Ochsner Health System, which occupies the top four floors and additional space with views toward Champions Square and the Caesars Superdome, and Fox affiliate WVUE (Channel 8), which operates a morning newscast facility on the second floor. The roughly 488,000-square-foot building maintains a high occupancy rate among the city's commercial properties.
