Capella Tower is an office skyscraper in Minneapolis, Minnesota, designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. It opened in 1992 as First Bank Place, headquarters of First Bank System, and took later names including US Bancorp Place and 225 South Sixth before adopting its current name in 2009. Connected to the Minneapolis Skyway System, it contains about 1.4 million square feet of office space. Its claim to be the city's tallest building is disputed, as the neighboring IDS Center is usually said to be a foot taller.
