The Hayward Gallery is a brutalist art museum located in the London Borough of Lambeth, designed by Ron Herron and completed in 1968. Situated within the Southbank Centre on the South Bank of the River Thames, it stands adjacent to the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall/Purcell Room, the National Theatre, and BFI Southbank, forming part of central London's major cultural precinct. The gallery was briefly rebranded as "the Hayward" following the South Bank Centre's name change to Southbank Centre in 2007, before resuming its full name in 2011.
