Jewel Changi Airport is a neo-futuristic shopping and entertainment complex designed by architect Moshe Safdie and completed in 2019 in Singapore's eastern Changi district. Spanning 135,700 square meters across ten storeys—five above and five below ground—the complex is integrated with Changi Airport's Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Its signature centerpiece is the Rain Vortex, the world's tallest indoor waterfall, set within a terraced forest environment. The development houses approximately 300 retail and dining outlets, a hotel, and specialized facilities including early baggage check-in. Key attractions encompass the five-storey Forest Valley indoor garden and the Canopy Park with gardens and leisure amenities at the top level. Since its soft opening, Jewel has attracted massive visitor volumes, reaching 80 million annual visitors by 2024, making it one of the region's most frequented destinations.
