Designed by architect Zaha Hadid, the London Aquatics Centre is an indoor swimming facility located in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London. Built as a principal venue for the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, the centre contains two 50-metre pools and a 25-metre diving pool, and hosted the swimming, diving, and synchronised swimming events during the Games. Following significant modification after the Olympics, the facility opened to the public in March 2014.
