The Pembina County Courthouse, built in 1912 in Cavalier, North Dakota, is a Beaux-Arts structure designed by the architectural firm Buechner & Orth. Notable among the firm's North Dakota courthouses for its absence of a central dome, the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The original listing encompasses not only the courthouse itself but also a contributing sheriff's residence and jail.
