Rogoi is a Byzantine castle near Preveza in western Greece, built atop the remains of the ancient city of Bouchetion, which had been abandoned since the late 1st century BC. Reoccupied in the 9th century, the site was refortified and established as a bishopric, becoming strategically significant in the region during the 14th and early 15th centuries. The castle was ultimately abandoned following the Ottoman conquest in 1449.
