The White Magnolia Plaza, also known as Sinar Mas Center, is a 320-meter skyscraper completed in Shanghai in 2017, designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. Located north of the Bund adjacent to the international cruise terminal, the tower underwent significant design revisions during its construction, which began in 2013 after an initial suspension. The building was originally proposed at 388 meters but was scaled down multiple times before reaching its final height of approximately 320 meters. Owned by Sinar Mas Land, a subsidiary of the Indonesian Sinar Mas Group conglomerate, the tower exemplifies the evolving skyline of Shanghai's waterfront district.
