Designed by I.M. Pei and completed in 1986, Swissôtel The Stamford is a 226-metre postmodern skyscraper hotel in Singapore that held the distinction of being the world's tallest hotel upon its opening. Located at 2 Stamford Road as part of the Raffles City complex—which also encompasses a second hotel, convention centre, shopping centre, and office tower—it sits directly above City Hall and Esplanade MRT stations. Now managed by Accor and operating as a 5-star property with 1,252 rooms and suites, the hotel features twelve restaurants and bars, the Raffles City Convention Centre, and Willow Stream Spa, one of Asia's largest spa facilities. A comprehensive renovation was completed in 2019.
