The Montgomery is a 26-story, 404-foot modernist skyscraper designed by Minoru Yamasaki and completed in 1972 in Chicago's Near North Side. Built as the corporate headquarters for Montgomery Ward Company, it stands as a contemporary example of Yamasaki's work during the era when he was simultaneously designing the World Trade Center. The building was converted to residential use in 2005–2006, transforming its function from commercial office space to housing.
