The Thomas J. Conover House is a Colonial Revival residence built around 1910 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, where retired farmer Thomas J. Conover lived with his daughter Casa Mae Conover. The two-story frame dwelling features a gable-end façade with hip-on-gable roof embellishment, fishscale shingles adorning the gable end, and a full-length front porch. Casa Mae's long tenure at William Penn College—serving between 1925 and 1951 as a teacher of religious education, assistant registrar, secretary to the president, and registrar—lends the house historical significance within the context of the Quaker institution and its community. The house's survival and preservation reflect the rarity of unmarried professional women owning property independently during this era. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
