The Galva Opera House, located at 334–348 Front Street in Galva, Illinois, is a historic theater built in 1878. Originally opening as the Blue Ribbon Temperance Hall, it took its present name by 1886 as its association with the temperance movement dissolved. Situated on two major railroad lines, the venue attracted traveling theatrical troupes alongside locally produced shows and performances. Until Galva High School opened its own auditorium in 1932, the building served the community as a venue for school graduations, sporting events, and plays. The structure also functioned as a roller skating rink during the 1920s and 1930s and hosted Lions Club events in the 1950s. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, the building underwent a renovation plan beginning in 2020 that included conversion of its ground-floor storefronts into a coffee shop and craft retail space.
