Irattai Thiruppathy refers to two adjacent Dravidian temples—the Devapiran and Aravindalochanar—located on the banks of the Thamiraparani river in Tamil Nadu, India, as part of the nine sacred Divya Desams along the Tiruchendur-Tirunelveli route. Both temples are dedicated to Vishnu and form part of the 108 temples revered by the twelve Alvars poet saints; they are also recognized as a Ketu Sthalam sacred to the deity Ketu. Enclosed by a granite wall, the temples feature a flat rajagopuram gateway tower and follow the Tenkalai tradition of worship. Six daily rituals and three yearly festivals, including the prominent ten-day Vaikuntha Ekadashi festival held in December–January and celebrations honoring Nammalvar with Garudasevai, sustain their religious practice. The temples are maintained by the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
