Sathyanatheswarar Temple, located in Thirukalimedu near Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, who is worshipped here as Sathyanatheswarar alongside his consort Parvathi as Pramarambikai. Built in Dravidian architectural style, the temple features a three-tiered rajagopuram (entrance tower) and multiple shrines enclosed within a granite wall. The temple holds significant religious status as one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams—sanctified sites revered in the 7th-century Tamil Saiva canonical text Tevaram, composed by the nayanars, the revered Tamil saint poets. Daily rituals are conducted throughout the day, while the temple calendar includes three major annual festivals: Margalhi Tiruvathirai, Aipassi Annabishekam, and Mahashivarathri. The temple is administered by the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
