The US Post Office–Far Rockaway, constructed in 1935 in Queens, New York, exemplifies Colonial Revival architecture as designed by consultant architect Eric Kebbon for the Office of the Supervising Architect. The two-story brick structure, appointed with limestone trim and a low granite base, features a distinctive main façade centered on a polygonal frontispiece crowned with a rounded dome inspired by Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. A grand entrance vestibule further enhances its classical character. One of six post offices Kebbon designed across New York State, the building was recognized as a historic landmark when listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
