Aria Resort and Casino is a luxury hotel and casino complex on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and completed in December 2009. The centerpiece of the larger CityCenter development, Aria comprises two curvilinear glass towers rising 50 stories, containing 4,004 rooms and suites alongside 150,000 square feet of casino gaming space. The resort earned LEED Gold certification for environmental design—a distinction marking it as the world's largest hotel to achieve such recognition at the time of opening—and was noted as among the most technologically advanced hotels globally when it debuted. Beyond its accommodations, Aria features an 80,000-square-foot spa, 500,000 square feet of convention space, fine dining establishments, and an 1,840-seat theater that initially hosted Cirque du Soleil productions. Now owned by The Blackstone Group and operated by MGM Resorts International, the resort holds both AAA Five Diamond and Forbes five-star ratings.
