The Boeing Building, a 36-floor skyscraper designed by Perkins & Will and completed in 1990, stands on the Near West Side of Chicago at 100 North Riverside Plaza, directly across the Chicago River from the downtown Loop. Originally built for the Morton Salt Company, the structure employs a distinctive steel truss system that suspends its southwest corner to clear Metra railroad tracks below. Boeing moved its corporate headquarters to the building in 2001, relocating from Seattle, though the company later announced a move to Arlington, Virginia in 2022.
