Prananadeswarar Temple is a Dravidian Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva located in Thirumangalakudi, Thanjavur District, Tamil Nadu. Built originally during the Chola dynasty in the 9th century with later expansions extending into the 16th century under the Thanjavur Nayaks, the temple features a five-tiered gopuram and houses multiple shrines, including those of Mangalapureeswarar and Mangalanayagi. The presiding deity, Prananatheswarar, is revered in the 7th century Tamil Saiva canonical work the Tevaram. The temple maintains six daily rituals and hosts five yearly festivals, with the Panguni Brahmostavam—celebrating the sacred marriage of the presiding deity—as its principal celebration. It is notably one of few South Indian temples where Kaali Attam, a dance depicting the Hindu deity Kali, is performed.
