Solitude Palace (Schloss Solitude) is a Rococo hunting retreat built between 1764 and 1769 for Charles Eugene, Duke of Württemberg, situated on a ridge between Leonberg, Gerlingen, and Stuttgart in Baden-Württemberg. Designed by Johann Friedrich Weyhing and Philippe de La Guêpière, this maison de plaisance exemplifies the ornamental elegance characteristic of mid-eighteenth-century princely retreats. The palace remains a designated cultural heritage monument in the region.
