Sthalasayana Perumal Temple, located near Kollumangudi in Tamil Nadu's Nagapattinam district, is a Dravidian-style Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu and counted among the 108 Divya Desams—the most sacred Vishnu shrines in Hindu tradition. Built with characteristic granite construction, the temple features a four-tiered rajagopuram (gateway tower) and is enclosed by a granite wall surrounding all shrines. Glorified in the Nalayira Divya Prabandham, a 6th–9th-century Tamil canon by the Alvar saints, the temple worships Vishnu as Sthalasayana Perumal and his consort Lakshmi as Thirumagal Nachiyar. According to tradition, Sthalasayana Perumal appeared to the sage Vyaghrapada at this site. The temple maintains a liturgical rhythm of three daily rituals and three yearly festivals, with the Brahmotsavam celebration during the Tamil month of Vaikasi (May–June) being most prominent. It is administered by the Hindu Religious and Endowment Board of Tamil Nadu.
